Although Dennis Kromer formed The Seed Den, Inc. only recently in 2006, he has 33 years of experience as a true seedsmen. Upon graduating from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Horticulture, Dennis began his career in the seed industry working for Ferry Morse Seed Company and later, other well-known names in the industry. Dennis is one of the pioneers, who helped create the current wildflower seed segment of the market. In addition to serving as a flower judge for All America Selections since 1988, Dennis is noted as one of the top experts in the flower seed arena.

The Seed Den, Inc. is a wholesale seed supplier that markets to seed distributors, landscape contractors, state highway departments, municipalities, and golf courses. Our success is directly related to the success of our customers, so our mission is to educate and help you succeed. We hope that this catalog can serve as a valuable tool in that education process.

We maintain an extensive year round inventory, which, along with our superior customer service, allows The Seed Den, Inc. to ship product promptly throughout the year. All of our seeds are analyzed for purity, tested for germination, and then tested in the field trials to evaluate trueness to type, planting rates, adaptability, weed control, and maintenance.
